  4. Eat More Fruits and Vegetables: Aim for half of your daily intake to be non-starchy fruits and vegetables.

  5. Limit Meat Consumption: Reducing red and processed meats lowers the risk of diabetes. Opt for plant-based proteins and healthy fats like those in nuts and fish.
